dc.description.abstract A novel case of predation of a juvenile Central American lyre snake Trimorphodon quadratus (Colubrida) by the Wandering spider Ancylometes bogotenensis (Ctenidae) in the Pacific northwestern region of Costa Rica is presented.This species o spider is known to be an active predator o small amphibians and reptiles, in addition to including a wide diversity o invertebrates in their diet, which it immobilizes with its venom
