dc.description.abstract A to tal of 12 neolignans. 11 bicyclooctanoids and one benzofuranoid were isolated from fruit parts of Genlea veraguensis. Seven of the bicyclooctanoids were new; most had 2'.O-acetyl functional groups. The major seed and seed coat neolignans had 3,4-methylenedioxyphenyl substi tuents at C-7, while the fruit pulp contained mainly diand trimethoxyphenyl groups at this position. es_CR
